Ice cave and northern lights

This workshop is covering the best parts of the South Coast which holds by far many of Iceland's most picturesque locations like Black beach, Diamond beach, Vestrahorn, majestic waterfalls, glaciers, ice cave and more.
This time of year Lady Aurora is in full swing and we will be hunting some lights whenever the conditions and activity will be favourable.
Since the weather can be quite changeable in Iceland we always take the weather into account when we decide what location we choose to shoot at any given time, therefore we always have several option for each day and we choose the most favourable option. -
You fly into Keflavík International airport. From the airport it is only 10 min drive with taxi to your hotel in Keflavík.

This workshop will not include any difficult hikes.

We begin and end in Keflavik but we'll be staying at a great hotels throughout the workshop. These accommodations are conveniently located for our shooting locations.

How to create compelling and enticing landscape compositions.
How to properly expose for an image throughout all variety of light including prime and non-prime lighting conditions.
How to photograph the night sky and with some luck, capture the aurora borealis!
How to use their camera to its best capabilities.
How to utilize motion blur to capture dramatic seascapes and waterfall images.
How to do multiple exposure and focus stacking.
If time allows workflow techniques for Lightroom and Photoshop.

Halldor (Dori) is also known on instagram as YourPrivatPilot. He is an experienced aerial and landscape photographer.Dori is born and raised in Iceland and knows the country inside out as well as how to deal with constantly changing Icelandic weather.

Diego lives in Guatemala where he specializes in volcano workshops.Diego has a long time of experience in photography and has been knowledge by Nikon USA, his image has been published in NatGeo Calendar and other magazines related to travelling.
